Inner City Futsal Instruction

HandsOnSports Foundation staff members collaborate with community partners  to provide facilities, equipment and programming based on physical activity and organized play to inner-city children through the sports of futsal and soccer.

Our programs are run by a qualified staff of soccer and futsal instructors and delivered in Akron at the Lane Field outdoor court and at Akron's Goodyear Hall indoor gymnasium. In 2017 we are working to partner with Urban Vision school and the City of Akron to provide 2 new places to play and programming for the children of North Hill and the East side. In addition we have started a partnership which will provide programming and equipment to the children who attend the two new Salvation Army locations in the Collinwood and Hayden & Doan neighborhoods of East Cleveland.

Futsal is the only version of indoor soccer played around the world. A fast paced game, futsal is played on a hard court, indoor and outdoors, and is the choice training method for soccer player development
